There are so many perks to campus living!
All residents have access to a variety of campus resources that support intellectual growth, healthy lifestyles, and personal safety. Life at UBC Okanagan is truly a home-away-from-home where residents can pursue their academic and personal goals in a safe, comfortable, and fun environment.
Stay Connected
At university, reliable communications tools are a must—for learning purposes and to stay in touch with family and friends. Student Housing provides internet access through UBC’s wireless internet service,
UBC Secure, which is available free for all UBC faculty, staff and students, as well as guests and affiliates. A
Campus-Wide Login account is required to access the ubcsecure network. For more information, or to access wifi supports, visit our
FAQ page.
Dining on Campus
Students who live in Cassiar, Valhalla, Nicola, Kalamalka, Purcell, Skeena, Similkameen and Nechako purchase a
mandatory meal plan. Those who live in the Cascades and Monashee can choose to purchase an
optional meal plan for convenience and extra savings. Meal plan dollars are valid at participating campus food outlets and many
off-campus partner locations.
Mail & Parcels
All mail addressed to residences is delivered to the Nechako Housing Office, and is available for pick up daily. Find out your mailing address, or learn more about the process of receiving mail and parcels on our FAQ page.
Bed Linens
Student Housing and Hospitality Services does not provide bedding or bath linens—you must bring your own. For extra convenience, Campus Linens of Canada offers online sales of high-quality bed and bath linens and is approved to deliver products to residence before students arrive in September.
