We’re so excited you’re going to be living in residence at UBCO! Make the most of your time by following this winter session residence guide to get set up.

Pre-arrival checklist

You’ve accepted your offer. Now what? Here are 8 important to-do’s before moving into residence.

First thing’s first — did you accept your offer? Residence offers are sent by email. You’ll have seven days to accept the offer and pay your first installment of residence fees and/or meal plan fees.
Register for Jump Start (if you are new to UBCO this year). This orientation program gives you the opportunity to move in early, get to know campus, and meet new friends in-person.
Apply for your UBCcard. Your UBCcard is your meal plan, bus pass, printing account and ID! If you want to have it as part of your move-in package, make sure to apply before the deadline.
Apply for parking (if you need it). Residence parking spaces are limited, so apply for a early.
Buy or order bed linens to ensure you have bedding when you move in. Learn more about ordering bedding here.

Bookmark our important dates page for key residence deadlines.
Review your Residence Contract and become familiar with your rights and responsibilities.
