Self-isolation accommodation packages for UBCO students, faculty and staff

Man talking to family on phone

All travellers arriving to Canada are required by the Canadian Government to quarantine (self-isolate) for 14 days and to self-monitor for symptoms.

This requirement includes UBCO Student Housing residents arriving from outside of Canada, whether they are returning to campus or moving in for the first time.

Students moving into a shared unit (any space that shares a washroom and/or kitchen with another student) in a residence managed by UBCO Student Housing must self-isolate for 14 days in a different, private space before moving in to their shared unit space.

There are a several accommodation packages available to members of the UBC community. These packages include on-campus accommodation options for students in housing, and off-campus accommodation in partnership with a local hotel, available to non-residence students, staff and faculty. Note that some options include meals, while others do not.
